Entrepreneurial Abundance<\/h1>\n

An idea that I\u2019ve come across more and more is the idea of a mindset of abundance vs a mindset of scarcity. \u00a0I think that this can apply to most areas in life. \u00a0I want to explore it as it applies to entrepreneurship. \u00a0I\u2019ve seen great examples of people thinking business is a zero sum game<\/a>, I strongly believe that it\u2019s not, and that through an attitude of abundance you can grow your business faster.<\/p>\n

Most people are strongly conditioned by what I refer to as the Scarcity Mentality. They perceive <\/em>life as having limited resources, as if there were just one pie available. If someone takes a large <\/em>slice, it means less for everyone else.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Abundance Mentality, conversely, arises from a profound inner sense of personal worth and <\/em>security. It’s the belief that there is plenty available and enough for everyone. This mindset <\/em>encourages sharing prestige, recognition, profits, and decision-making. It unlocks possibilities, <\/em>options, alternatives, and creativity.<\/em><\/p>\n

Abundance in opportunities<\/b><\/h2>\n

I love the idea of \u2018connecting dots\u2019. \u00a0For me that means seeing links between two people, ideas, concepts that others may not have seen. \u00a0This is even more pertinent when it comes to the technology and e-learning industry that I\u2019m involved in. \u00a0A great example of this is Virtual Reality (VR). \u00a0This is a very exciting area, and VR may intersect with a number of areas in life. \u00a0Naturally I\u2019m thinking about its use in training and as a natural extension of what we\u2019re doing in e-learning. \u00a0What about if Capytech was the first\/leader in the VR training space in the UAE? \u00a0These kind of ideas excite me, and it’s through this connection we may derive great success.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not worried that someone might steal this idea because I wrote about it here. \u00a0If this opportunity didn’t occur to you before, then great! \u00a0Develop a wonderful business or product, and hopefully we can work together! \u00a0I think more about others that might consider it, and decide to contact me because they have similar thoughts or they might want to be my first client!<\/p>\n

There is plenty of business opportunities out there. \u00a0I\u2019ve got such great confidence in Capytech\u2019s ability to execute on our ideas that I\u2019m not worried if someone else is doing it. \u00a0If we\u2019re not great at it compared to our competitors – then we probably shouldn\u2019t be doing it anyhow!<\/p>\n

Abundance in connections<\/b><\/h2>\n

For those that have met me, you may well have seen me thinking about who I should connect you with. \u00a0Some people will try and control your interactions with anyone they\u2019ve introduced you to. \u00a0If they don\u2019t, they might miss out on a finders fee or commission. \u00a0I hate this mentality. \u00a0I think it\u2019s shortsighted, and will eventually limit the amount of business you will do with either person.<\/p>\n

Instead I want to introduce people that will likely never have met, and let them figure it out. \u00a0Sure I might miss out on a tiny amount of revenue at the outset – but both parties are going to be grateful to me in the long run. \u00a0The next time either of them know someone that is looking for some e-learning, or an app, or anything related to technology – I will come into their minds. \u00a0They won’t hold back, as being able to reciprocate abundance is greatly rewarding.<\/p>\n

Be abundant in your business<\/b><\/h2>\n

I think living with a mindset of abundance is the healthiest way to live, both personally and in business. \u00a0The positives of thinking this way, greatly outway the negatives. \u00a0You might miss out on some opportunities, or have them taken from you – but they were probably ones you were better off without.<\/p>\n
